A 63 years-old female patient was found elevated CA19-9 levels during treatment for diabetes mellitus and further examinations led to a diagnosis of pancreatic body and tail cancer with multiple liver metastases. We performed whole-exome sequencing using a biopsy specimen and identified 70 somatic mutations, a part of which indicated generation of possible neoantigens in cancer cells.

This disease has claimed around 300 lives globally, and survivors of this infection are rare. The organism thrives in warm environments, can withstand high temperatures, and multiplies in hotter months of the year.

This review provides a comprehensive overview of what is known so far about the role of presynaptic receptors and transporters in the mode of action of some drugs used in medical practice. Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a prevalent gastrointestinal disorder primarily caused by Helicobacter pylori infection and the overproduction of gastric acid. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), such as omeprazole, esomeprazole, and pantoprazole, are first-line treatments, offering effective acid suppression, ulcer healing, and symptom relief. Despite their effectiveness, long-term PPI use is associated with risks like nutrient deficiencies, infections, and renal complications.

multidisciplinary surgical techniques have become more and more common, especially when treating complicated medical problems that affect several organ systems, including those that are treated by gynecologists and general surgeons. Recovery time and surgical complications are frequent problems with these treatments. Few studies have compared single-discipline gynecological treatments to multidisciplinary surgeries, despite the latter being extensively researched. Although patient demographics like age and marital status may have a big impact on surgical outcomes, little is known about how they affect multidisciplinary settings.
